Cotter Sheild

Cotter Shield is the Scout section's annual Patrol competition camp, where Patrols of Scouts compete in a series of activity bases across the weekend that test their leadership, teamwork, communication and Scouting skills. Cotter Shield will be held the weekend of 4-6 April 2025 at Camp Cottermouth.

This theme this year is Scout Olympics. The Branch Scout Council has been working hard over the last six months to plan a fantastic youth-led event.

The BSC is keen to get Venturers involved with supporting that event this year. Venturers can attend as an activity leader and score the Scouts as they come through the activity bases, or can work in the Event HQ answering questions, providing first aid, and calculating final scores.

It's a great opportunity for Venturer Units to promote themselves and connect with older Scouts who are looking for their next adventure.

The cost for Venturers is $35 each, plus food which we will arrange closer to the event.
